AFTER SCHOOL

Minis £10pp, Juniors £15

Games and exercises for children (and anyone else if they don't mind mixing). Learn the basics, and develop knowledge and skills for top-rope climbing.

  • Two sessions on a Thursday (hope to add another) – see calendar

  • Minis (age 4-6) runs from 4-5pm

  • Juniors (age 7+) runs 5-6:30pm. A later session can be added to meet demand.

  • Harness and belay device provided.

  • Wear tight (clean) trainers and comfortable clothing. Long hair tied up. No jewellery, skirts/dresses, open shoes, socks, or bare feet.

Under 10s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian as children can't be left alone. An extra adult also helps comply with TaB safeguarding policy, and minimises disruption in the event of toilet breaks.

PARTIES & GROUPS

£90+

We've hosted a few parties, Wood Green 15th Cub Scouts and a St Cuthbert's fun day for low-income families.

Currently (due to harnesses) the maximum number of climbers is 12. After some fun warm-ups and games roped climbers are managed as pairs or trios.

  • Expect two-four climbs per person (depending on levels of excitement!).

  • Food: you can arrange a cake and snacks but bear in mind this will add time, which will add to the cost of a booking. The Centres requires a £150 cleaning deposit.

2026 prices:

  • 6 people: £90 (for 1.5 hours)

  • 8 people: £120 (for 1.5 hours)

  • 10-12 people: £160 (for 1.5 hours)

  • 24 people: £300 (for 2x 1.5 hours)

I had a fantastic experience with the indoor climbing instructors – it was clear they really knew what they were doing. Their positive attitude created a great atmosphere, and the session was very well structured throughout.
